April 2 week Tabata free group workout
The two most common excuses for not working out is lack of time and not having a gym membership or access to equipment.
Tabata interval training with your body weight, which requires no equipment and guess what not a lot of time. Perfect solution!
The concept is going at maximum intensity for 20 seconds, followed by 10 seconds of rest for how many ever rounds is set in the program, 4-8 is typical. So this workout can be started and complete in as short as 4 minutes to a maximum of 30 minutes.
Due to short rest periods, it keeps your body to keep moving, and heart rate up before it recovers from the previous set. Making this style of workout great for aerobic and anaerobic gains.
A huge benefit is the afterburn! You’ll keep burning calories for hours after your workout has ended, as much as 36 hours!
Tabata is a great way to push your body to its limit in just four minutes. It’s perfect if you don’t have much time, have your kids join you too, due to the workouts being basic moves and a short time kids typically have the attention span to do them also!
