burnt out, overworked stressed out
Losing weight will be impossible if you’re chronically stressed, sleep-deprived, or overworked. This scenario was me before my journey to a healthier being.
Do you dream of having a workout regimen to “get toned” and shake off the stress building up in your body? Have a deep desire to fit in the same jeans you wore in college or high school?? Are you disappointed you’ve let yourself go and think that everyone is judging you??
This was all me!! I didn’t have anyone around me that was a good influence either..
Feeling like life is at high speed and being wound uptight is a sure-fire way NOT to lose weight. You can’t be in a constant fight with your body and the world and expect your body to respond in the way you want it to. It’s in a fight, and what it will do is store fat to ensure enough energy to survive. It doesn’t care if you look cute in that size six pair of jeans!!
What you eat and exercise are only two components of a healthy life that can lead to weight loss. While important, too strong of a focus on nutrition and exercise can cause you to overlook other factors that are just as important: sleep and stress management.
