Where to start with Pre-Diabetes & Diabetes
I believe being mindful takes a lot of practice, & is a perishable skill. Being mindful doesn’t come naturally to me; I like to live in a state of BUSY & CHAOS, I use many of these techniques myself & with clients, I work with.
I practice mindful eating daily because I know the importance of a healthy body & mind. I am grateful for the abundance of easy to access food. I also want to avoid making poor food choices or eating too fast to ensure healthy digestion.
Mindful eating is a technique that helps you gain control over your eating habits, and help you learn how to control your thoughts, but with food in a fun way!
It has been shown to promote weight loss, reduce binge eating, and help you feel better.
Mindful eating means focusing on the present moment while calmly acknowledging and accepting your feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations while embracing the full process of disgesting.
By truly paying attention to the food you eat, you’ll discover how lucky we are to have such an abundance of food and how food directly affects our emotions, mood, health, and life.
I created a course that dives deep into explaining the benefits of eating more mindfully, how it works, several examples, and a five-day challenge!!
